Radio station & show name generator
Pick a format and a vibe, generate names, and click one to see it on a real station website header.
Before you commit to a name
- Say it out loud. Listeners will hear it in jingles and say it to smart speakers. Short and unambiguous beats clever.
- Check the domain and social handles before you fall in love with it. The generator does not check availability.
- Search for trademarks in your country (in the US, the USPTO search; in the UK, the IPO). Another station or brand may own a similar name.
- Call letters belong to licensed broadcasters. In the US the FCC assigns call signs to licensed stations. A call-letter style name for an online station is just a name, so make sure it does not copy a real station's call sign.
- Leave room to grow. A name tied to one genre or one town is harder to stretch later.
