Now-Playing & Embeds
Your site automatically shows what's playing right now — the track title, artist and artwork — wherever your player appears. This guide explains how it works and how to make the most of it.
How now-playing works
Once your stream is connected, RadioSiteMaker reads the current track and displays it in your player. When a track has no artwork, a clean fallback is shown so the player always looks polished. You can hide track details for specific shows or schedule slots when you'd rather show the show name.
Recently played
If you switch on the recently-played feature, your site can also show a list of the last tracks that aired, with timestamps — a nice touch for listeners who want to find a song they just heard.
Showing your station elsewhere
Your live station can be promoted beyond your website too — for example, sharing your site's player link so listeners can tune in from anywhere. Keep your stream details up to date in Settings so everything stays in sync.
Frequently Asked Questions
Where does the now-playing info come from?
From your connected stream (or a now-playing source you specify). See Connecting your stream for setup.
Why is there a placeholder instead of album art?
When a track has no artwork available, a tidy fallback image is shown so the player still looks clean.
Can I show recently played tracks?
Yes. Switch on the recently-played feature to list the most recent tracks with timestamps.
